Masintín, Tinto di Itata 2022

Masintin is a small project rooted in Chile’s ancient Itata Valley, where old bush vines and granite soils shape distinctive, soulful wines. Working with organically farmed fruit and native yeasts, the focus is on minimal intervention and maximum expression. Masintin celebrates the quiet power of the Itata terroir through pure, transparent winemaking. Tinto di Itata 2022 is made from a blend of País and Cinsault, from vines which are a whopping 200+ years old - some of the oldest on the planet. 7109 bottles produced. This coastal Chilean red brims with crushed raspberry, rose petal, and dried herbs. Silky texture and bright acidity give it lift, while a whisper of earth and pepper adds depth. Unfined, unfiltered, and gloriously alive.
